Wanting to ask if there is any reason a Satin rooster would not be suitable to breed a Turken ?

That's a good point and I'm kinda concerned my coop pen yard needs a rain proof top and the sides are open ,I don't want the rooster to get sick because he gets his feet wet ot some mud on them I wad told you can't let Silkies get wet.

I understand the hen and hen fussing fighting I just wasn't happy with her biti g her baby on the head plucking out feathers ,thought that was a little harsh and trying to understand why she would show that aggression to her chick .maybe just very upset.i moved her into her own seperate place again.

I am thinking of getting a polish chicken and would like to cross with silkies or frizzles ,does it matter with way you cross them?

We have a year old Black Maran hen from a hatchery and there were 6 and one only is laying a light brown egg.Is it best to remove her from your flock if you raising chicks.
