I definitely hear the odd breathing, but I couldn’t tell you what it is, I’m sorry. Since it’s been happening all his life, I’d assume it’s not a big deal, but it’s still strange.
No, not Rouens. They could both be Mallards, I suppose.. I found this post that shows 2 ducklings that look very similar to yours, and they’re believed to be Mallards.

Okay.. there’s a crazy amount of misinformation in this thread already, WOW. There is absolutely no chance she is broody at 11 weeks. The mouth opening just looks like throat / crop adjustment. She’s missing feathers because she’s going through her first molt, which ducks do once they’re fully...
Oh my, poor baby! What’s your friend’s sex ratio?? That’s a lot of missing feathers for one bad breeding (unless that’s the crow’s doing).
She’s a lovely Dark Campbell, and she’ll be even lovelier once those feathers grow back!
There’s a good chance all of them are girls!
2 and 4 are the easiest to tell with those honks. 1’s a bit harder, but I still think she’s a girl. 3’s the hardest for me, but I can definitely make out some peep-honking; hopefully that will continue!
Boys won’t have much of a voice change until...
I would definitely put up a divider in the brooder where they can see each other but not touch.
Introducing at these ages would be less a matter of size and more a matter of bullying. In the coming days / weeks, if you have good weather, I’d let them run around outside together. Chasing is...
I’ve been there! I personally think it’s best to feed at least twice a day. Might be better to try giving a small meal in the morning and a bigger one in the evening; they get to eat twice but are still hungry enough to forage and return later for their main food. You could also encourage...
I’ve had success putting hatchlings with 2 week olds; anything beyond was too big of a size difference for me. It could be awhile until these eggs hatch, in which yes, it’d be best to put up a divider in the brooder, so they may see each other but not touch. I agree with BelovedBirds in getting...
Wow, yeah, those blood rings are very disappointing.. I’d wonder if it’s the temperature, but it sounds like you’ve got that all sorted out. 12 may have potential, and 9 looks fantastic!
So sorry about the disaster by the way.. that’s so upsetting. I hope you can get some duckies from these 12...
The eggs look pretty lively to me! Definitely not as far along, though.. How strange. Perhaps she laid new eggs in the middle of incubation? Although, it’s not common for a wild duck.
Also, little Donny is adorable. He certainly looks like a Mallard.
I would continue food and water 24/7 until they’re fully feathered, or around 8 weeks old. They need all the food they can get while growing! After 8 weeks, you can take it out at night just fine :)
No, not Cayuga.
The darkest two look to be Black Swedish for sure. The one that’s a little lighter might be a Blue Swedish. The last one with the lightest bill has stumped me. Almost looks Swedish, but has extra yellow in a couple places. Perhaps that one’s mixed?
