Hello, I am new at raising chickens and my silkies are starting to lay a lot more eggs. I have two hens and a rooster. How would i know what eggs are good to eat and which ones arent? Also do i have to gather the eggs right away and put them in the fridge if we are planning to eat the eggs...

I haven't raised a rooster since i was a young kid so i was freaking out. I care about them so much and i just want to make sure he was healthy, Either way i will still be keeping an eye on him. Thank you!!!

He is still acting normal and last night he was drinking water like normal. I kept checking on him this morning. He was making noises but not crowing like he normally did
