Thank you! We were home treating her a couple of months ago (with sugardine towards the end too) but it was SO distressing for us and her that we ended up giving up. Hopefully the vet properly flushing it out and the antibiotics will sort her out. 🤞🏼

Did your chickens recover?

Yes she has both of those, fingers crossed for her! Just shows what can happen in a matter of weeks. This was last week so about 2months later. She has big bandages now and is home and being a house chicken 🖤

The bottom of her foot looked like classic bumblefoot before she went to the vet, I don’t know what it looks like now as she has been kept in overnight and she is all bandaged. I also don’t know what antibiotics they have given her yet, I will be able to update tomorrow. Thanks for your message x

This was just the kind of reassuring comment I was hoping for 🥹 i was kinda shocked when they told me because it didn’t look that bad- BUT she has had bumblefoot for about 2 years and we have been unable to shift it ourselves. So glad your chicken got better 🥰 thank you for the comment x

Hello- so sorry I didn’t see this reply until just now, I hope your chickens are still bumble free! Mine got worse so she has been at the vets and they said it has spread to her joint 😭 I’m hoping she will recover but I won’t know for a while 😔💔
