Sweet! I'm trying to figure out how much longer it will be before my chicks stop hiding under mama. I'm going to order a heat lamp to supplement the heater I have running for them. Their feathers are coming in beautifully though.

@Saris they are still all happy and healthy. They have somehow learned to climb out of the nesting box and fly down to the lower level, which gives them a lot more room to play.

We lost power about that long, but luckily I did have a broody. We brought everybody inside during the storm, though, since we couldn't run their heater in the coop. The babies are all officially 2 weeks old now :)

2015 HALLOWEEN Hatch-a-Long, Join us IF YOU DARE!

She was pinkish and had a VERY blue back when she was just born and still wet. Almost navy. Maybe she is a splash. The andalusian and cream leg bar have tiny but obviously serrated combs and the other two don't have much at all. I'm so happy she was successful with her babies. Thank you so...

@Saris Dang. Let me know if you want eggs. I could buy enough for the both of us if you would incubate them. So this is the one that you weren't sure what it was. Any idea?

@Saris Schnell is the one on the nest. She seems fine and she's accepted the babies without trying to eat them. Did you ever hatch any Americaunas? The last chick has a tiny bit of face fluff, it's cute.

New babies! A little blurry sorry, wanted to take these pics fast and get them back under mama @Saris The one chick that pipped externally before the others is still in its shell. The hole is large enough for the whole beak to fit through and then some, but when I look inside and use the...

The blue andalusian hatched at 8pm! I love her half white face. The next one looks like it might be a Buff Orphington. It's pipped a hole almost large enough to peek out of haha @Saris
