Here was the surprise that we had in the coop last night. 4 ounces even. Very thin shelled, double yolker, delicious!

Unfortunately, we are unable to attend as originally planned...nothing to do with AI, but rather a schedule change for marching band :-( We will miss you all....my son will especially miss the raffle table!! We will miss catching up with everyone. Hope it is a great day!

Just have to share....my son (13yo) got his first egg last night from one of his barred rocks that he has raised for his production trio he was going to take to fair. It was an adorable oval nugget weighing 1.5 oz. Needless to say he was a proud papa!! This was the kids first year doing...
