same here i just recently seen some blues with the light legs

your right there hacksaws are painful on the bird use a rotary tool (dremel) cuts the spurs off just be careful or itll cut you or there leg and it cartarizes the blood when it goes through so no bleeding i cut mine down to 1/4 inch

They look somewhat like hatch hens

Reminds me of some bantams I had raised em for about 10 years they were 1/2 roundhead 1/2 Cochin the stags weren't really worth anything other than lawn ornaments but the pullets made excellent incubators each hen would hatch about 4 batches each year they'd run a dog down if it got near there...

She looks roundhead crossed to me the reason I say that is because of the dark red on the neck then sort of a light reddish colored body the tail looks to have a cream color so that'd mean she's crossed with a light colored fowl
