The bird is 9 or 10 weeks old, has slate blue legs and white earlobes. I thought Nankins had red earlobes and carried their tails more upright? This one holds his tail horizontally.

Tail carriage seems wrong to me to be a Nankin and the bird is a LOT bigger than my Seramas. Maybe it's just a mutt then...

Is this a Golden Phoenix cockerel?

I know it's a boy. I'm really asking about breed. Do you think it's a Golden Phoenix?

Can anyone tell me if this is a Golden Phoenix cockerel? It popped up in some Serama hatching eggs I bought. Tail is getting very long and he holds it down & low. I was getting ready to take it to the auction as a very bad quality Serama lol!

Price would depend on age and quality wanted. This breed is very hard to determine gender on. Are you looking for pet quality or better?

I don't have any hens available at the moment, but I do have chicks on the ground and more eggs in the incubator. Once the chicks are old enough to sex, I can let you know if I have any pullets.
