    Ideas for conversion of dog run

    I have the same run...I covered mine with tin. I drilled holes into the top rail and bolted a 2x4 on, then attached joists across to attach the tin to. Be sure and put an extra 2x4 on one side to create a slope for runoff. Works like a champ.

    I just thought it was strange that she made a complete change in color...I did pour that extra protein to them during their molt with tuna fish and leftover chicken/beef and they always rob my barn cats of their food.

    Thanks!! He is an older rooster. It took several days after the initial quarantine look but don't touch period for him to get even close to them...they had been without a male companion for a while so they are quite independent! LOL They scared the crap out of him! He would run like crazy...
