Looking for a .22 Handgun. Help?

Quote: IMO you cant go wrong with a revolver, you load it, you point, you squeeze the trigger, and it goes bang. Now as far as caliber, you have plenty of choices. Best bet is to find a range or shop that will let you rent and or has a shooting day that you can check out multiple guns in...

Updated! Pics! Thank you! Someone that has a clue please help

Quote: Build your walls right there on the floor. Best way to do it is to frame it like a production job. The 2x4's that run at the top and bottom are called "plates". Nail your plates together with 2-3 nails that can be pulled out easily. When your plates are ready to go start your lay out...

    Living with the predator.......

Raise the chicks around the dogs. Watch the bird dog carefully. I have 2 APBT's, 2 cats, 4 chickens, 2 children, and one lizard. The dogs get chased into their kennels by the cats, the cats get chased by the chickens, the nearly 3 year old chases them all. I am the top of the food chain for all...

Has anyone discovered a cheap DIY solar solution for lighting?

Thanks for the replies. I dont want to cut into the roof, so that is out. I dont want a deep cycle battery, so that is out. All i need is a few hours of light, and it only needs to be enough to see newsprint to be effective. So has anyone taken one of the yard lights apart and installed extra...

Has anyone discovered a cheap DIY solar solution for lighting?

I free range the birds in the yard. One bird heads for the coop once it starts getting dark and i would like the other birds to do that, as it is they hang on the porch right where a window pitches light out. Also i would like to keep egg production up, not worried about the heat issue. Thanks!

    Spooky

Quote: I see our local population of coyotes 1-2x's a week. One almost earned himself a hole the size of .45 when he started coming up the driveway. We have a large cemetary on one end of the neighborhood and a national cemetary on another side. So we see all sorts of wildlife.

    Best gun for varmints

.223 for out to 200 yards, .22 for up close preferably a handgun and make it a revolver so you can shoot shorts(their quite, if you need it to be). 7.62 ammo prices are silly right now along with the prices for the guns. .308 if you want to reach and touch something at distance. if the wife is...

    snake food!!!!

i agree with the fact that power feeding burmese and other fast growing animals is not neccessarily a good diet regimen. that being said, it is something that can be done if you are trying to achieve something. i did it as a strict part of a regular diet of different prey items. i dont think...

    snake food!!!!

buying frozen prey and feeding to constrictors is what is called "power feeding" the freezing and thawing breaks down certain proteins and enzymes in the prey animal. so when the predator eats said thawed food it easier to digest and you can feed more often. i would power feed once a week and...
