I hatched a duck with wry neck tried to correct it but couldn’t find one of the meds but she still thriving and having a good time with all of her house mates since June of 2020

My duck Started limping couple days ago when I grabbed him and look looks as if there’s a sore on the bottom of the foot

Still swollen I keep dipping him but he starting to get fisty a little bit

Is there any truth to what happens from frostbite (things fall off)

I really do appreciate all of y’all help and I will use all the information given to me so he can have the best care that he needs

I will be keeping close check on him and if I have to force water I will but I’ll be gentle with him and I’ll get him some aspirin tomorrow

Should I keep giving him antibiotics or not

Unfortunately my place doesn’t have garage or anything but all my chickens have coops and I can close them up in the nesting area of their coop and pile in alot of straw inside to help keep them little bit warmer.I take water and food for them and put it inside the house with them everyday.

Same with me I haven’t ever seen anything like this either. I don’t even know anything about frostbite myself but it’s a good time to start learning about it now

Is there anything I can do for him

I live in north texas in Sanger near lake ray Roberts in denton county. Last Saturday night started a 89 hour below freezing weather here. Wednesday finally got above freezing and Thursday was the only warmest day of week but now back to really cold again

Yesterday I went out to check on my flock and found my rooster like this and when he try to run it looked kinda like someone who is drunk. So locked him in the nesting area of the coop. Check on him after I got home from work today and still same but his dangles are swollen bad. Gave him...
