Age of the Deathlayer is 9 weeks now. That is the best I can get with him running around in the pen.
I suggest to look at waddle developments. At this age hens should not have any or barely any waddles. If they are single comb breed will they have a well developed one and a red comb. All other comb types are a lot harder for me to sex.

I assumed they had at one time Fayoumi in. I had one Fayoumi hen and loved her. Deathlayers are an interesting breed for sure. We will see if they lay to the day they die and if they keep the production up.

I don't hold eggs for incubation past 10 days and do not turn them. I collect them a few days in row, inspect them for shape and cleanness. They are stored in the same room where the incubator is.
