    Oh poor baby, I’m sorry that happened. When my scissor beak pigeon was at the vet once they trimmed her beak too short and she bled so much she aspirated on her own blood, and had to be put in a nebulizer. She recovered, but it was scary. I trimmed it myself from then on.

    Oh my goodness I am so sorry! It is NOT illegal for you to have and raise her. Pigeons are non-native and considered feral. It’s just like rescuing a feral kitten. I am so sorry, I have had some horrible vets over the years, many just don’t feel pigeons are “worth it” which is so sad...
