    chickens both won't stop sneezing?

    that must've been it, because they stopped after they went to sleep.I am cleaning it now because i realize they are molting and that's got to be what has caused it.

    chickens both won't stop sneezing?

    I was out all day and my chickens both had water and food but it was quite hot today - so i took them inside when i got home. But when they got in the coop both of them wouldn't stop sneezing. Have they caught something from the wild birds? They weren't like this yesterday! They seem to have...

    Holes in my silkie's comb?

    lately she has been cringing every time i touch her as if she is in pain - most fearful chickens i owned when i first got them did this, but she never did it in the first place. She roosts sometimes in the day but often returns to sitting on the bottom of the coop with my other hen who is also...

    Holes in my silkie's comb?

    My chickens have been broody for quite some time, and i plan to fix it soon, but i don't know if this has to do with this. Today i was holding my silkie chicken, Blu, and realized she had several grotesque holes in her comb that had either healed, or dried up and fell out. I really hope any of...

    Bantams both broody since winter...

    actually! It may be due to the lack of lighting in their cage during the day, so i'll have to turn the light above their cage on every day again to see if that fixes it.

    Bantams both broody since winter...

    they are in an indoor coop and they just sit on the floor all day - but they still eat their food and drink water, so i am starting to think they might just be avoiding the summer heat. Although they don't lay eggs, still.

    Bantams both broody since winter...

    So, both my bantams are broody and have been since January. ( I think my silkie got broody in February) I can't do anything to break them as i have no cage in order to let the wind blow under them - but is there any other way to do it? All they do is sit in their cage the whole day every day...

    newly grown pumpkin leaf - wilting?

    maybe they are. I water them thoroughly twice a day, but it is summer so it dries out fast - would once a day be enough?

    newly grown pumpkin leaf - wilting?

    oh the leaves might be wilting because of the yellow spots on them. My pumpkins are depressing ;-;
