Egg Eating; Not Using Newly Constructed Roll Away Egg Boxes

Well I seem to have unwittingly engineered a fatal design flaw into the roll away boxes; they have to actually use the box for it to work.

Egg Eating; Not Using Newly Constructed Roll Away Egg Boxes

Would it be advisable to try a 20% feed instead of 16%? Or do they just have it in their little chicken minds that eggs are tasty treats regardless at this point

Egg Eating; Not Using Newly Constructed Roll Away Egg Boxes

I have these rubber 'egg mats' that I've had since they started laying. I taped some nickels to some ceramic eggs so they wouldn't roll. I tried hot glue but it didn't seem to stick to the egg or the nickels. Really cheap glue probably. The fake eggs seem to stay put more or less, but the...

Egg Eating; Not Using Newly Constructed Roll Away Egg Boxes

I've had one group of chickens (4) since 2022, another group (3) since 2023, they have been integrated and laying for some time. Hen is hot to the touch and laying down, no improvement overnight

Hen is hot to the touch and laying down, no improvement overnight

She just did this (see attached photo). Watery green with watery white that she managed to partially cover up before I could get something to take a picture with. Could this signify anything?

Hen is hot to the touch and laying down, no improvement overnight

Nothing is abundantly evident, the most I could say is there could be some slight swelling in the second picture. She doesn't react to me poking, prodding, and squeezing it though. I don't see a wound on either foot. I wouldn't know what else to look for in an early stage bumblefoot case...

Hen is hot to the touch and laying down, no improvement overnight

    1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.) Barred Rock, 13 weeks, weight seems to be about the same as others 2) What is the behavior, exactly. I noticed she was limping to some degree yesterday and then she started laying down...
