    I dont know if you got an answer but if it helps I have 50 chickens of various breeds and 2 ducks none of them have eaten it now I can t say the same for the silly goats lol but it does not hurt them

    Thank you ! And yes he is a great protector the odd part is he is a Doberman not the 1st breed that comes to mind when you say livestock dog but he is very protective of his chickens ducks and goats!
