i have a lot of hens laying eggs in nests or floorboards of broken vehicles only recently a few hens started setting
so waiting patiently for brood to hatch finally happened only not in an expected scenario
three hens (hated and pecked at each other last week) appear clucking carrying...
i have pheasants that hang out with chickens like one of the gang adds another layer of diversity to my herd
chickens of course guinea hens ducks pheasants junglefowl and quail all flocking around the yard
fat 10 week old cross rock begging for scraps they eat then eat then eat then eat again they can barely walk
i feed em grain plus free range amazing growing rate
the one year old i kept weighs 16 pounds would lay a few eggs mostly just LAY in front of feed bowl
