Wow! It looks so seamless! I thought maybe you'd used one of those bendable trims.
Since what I need has to act as a cap for the top edge of a plywood facade, that wouldn't work for this project but I'm sure I'll figure something out.
dewtattoo, do you mind telling me what you used to trim the arched door? I used several mitered cuts, on straight trim, and it doesn't look bad but it sure doesn't look as nice as yours.
The grands want a playhouse and my design is an "old west" theme. So the top of the faux front needs a...
I'm a granny and am not offended at all! Too many people these days act like they don't want to be around older folks (although, at not quite sixty, I don't feel that old yet... Well some days I do. Lol). I would love to teach you if you lived close! But I'm in California.
I'm betting there...
Hello! I taught myself and my DD from books (with a dim memory of my grandmother trying to teach me) but I think the videos on YouTube are the best way these days. I've learned a lot of new techniques there. I just have to pause the videos often.
Best of luck!
That would be well above my skill level. I've tried knitting and no matter how hard I try to keep the yarn loose I end up with it strangling my needles. I'm hopeless. I crochet well enough. So I stick with that.
BTW, I hit thumbs up on this comment and meant to type in "so true" but my fat...
Thank you. I'll do that. I took a lot of photos planning to do just that. :)
They will love all those greens. Most of my coop builds have been from salvaged materials.
Aren't they beautiful? My two are huge and they look so regal compared to my other birds. How is your one lavender girl?
AWWWWW! What a Cutie she is! Those gorgeous eyes must be hard to say "no" to!
Being a grandparent is such a blast! We have 5 now. They love climbing on my tractor.
Thanks Orrpeople! I appreciate the help.
Anyone else have eggs for interesting breeds? Half my flock is getting pretty elderly so I need to get some youngsters in there to take up the slack from these beautiful dames that know they don't need to work for their upkeep anymore.
Hi Ron, Hubby's disease is progressing slowly. I'm thankful for a gradual decline vs a fast one but yeah, he doesn't have nearly as many good days as he had before. He's very aware of what's happening to him so that's tough... Dr. tells me I need to talk about it so I appreciate the concern...
Hi all! I haven't posted in ages but I've been checking in now and then. This thread is so busy! I am looking for some Lavender orpington hatching eggs. Would also accept a few blue. Anybody have some for sale in and around Butte County? Willing to drive up to Shasta/Lassen counties, over as far...
I love Arizona's scenery and those magnificent sunsets!
I've not been doing much crocheting either. Trying to finish prepping my raised beds for planting. My indoor grow racks are loaded and some of the plants really need to go out soon!
Will be buying and hatching chicks as soon as my...
