I get hives for everything else, I brace myself when I have to take a new prescription for something. I have begun my journey into using herbal supplements. It seems less traumatic for me and works almost the same.

EE's not laying, they are seven months old and never laid an egg.

Okay all!! They have started laying. They are laying the prettiest blue green egg. I will have to take some pictures and show you on here. They are absolutely gorgeous, it was worth the weight. In the morning when I make breakfast, the kids say, " Mom I want a blue omelet". I love it!

    Free chickens

I will have to look into that. I would like to be NPIP certified. I take in a lot of stray chickens that noone wants anymore, or have been dumped. I wouldn't mind shipping chickens as long as they have good homes.

To wash or not to wash eggs?

When I wash my eggs I put a coating of coconut oil on it to seal the pores of the eggs. Other than that I don't wash at all when I store them. When I sell them or give them away though, I do wash and then put the oil covering on it.
