    I got them as chicks from a seed and feed store, but I estimated their hatch day as April 15th 2021. I lost one girl just after their 3rd birthday (egg bound), and lost her other sister in December. Nine (or 8 or 7) is just incredible!

    I remember $1.50 a box and people would tell us that was outrageous. Girl Scouts still sell door to door, but are supposed to have an adult with them.

    I’m sorry they messed up. Chewy’s customer service is fantastic! FedEx lost our Chewy orders TWICE, and Chewy replaced not the dog and chicken feed both times. FedEx wouldn’t even try to locate the packages…

    As @Nonafel mentioned, the white guards are likely removable. I think it’s just painful for him to stick his wattles in there. Meanwhile I have a jerk hen that beaks food everywhere but my feeders didn’t come with the guards,

    Can you get a gravity feeder without the round holes for him? My chickens ate the label off ours but I think it’s Harris?
