    Adventures in Incubating Shipped Eggs

I plan to order more eggs to hatch, soon. In the meantime, I went ahead and picked up four week old chicks from a local area. Congrats to those who have had hatchers!

Graphic pics ahead... They didn't make it. Both were dead. How far along were they, do you think?

    Adventures in Incubating Shipped Eggs

Day 22. Nothing has changed. :( I candled. No movement. Why would a chick move for the water candle, but not via light?

    Adventures in Incubating Shipped Eggs

One shell which had the poor cam develoment isn't full. Many light areas. The other has mostly all dark areas until I slowly move to the bottom. The bottom appears to have a red splotch in the pointy end.

I managed to candle them without removing them from the incubator or having to open it. No movement. Very dark areas, but definitely no movement.

Nothing to report here as we slide into 22 days. I am convinced that they are dead.
