Most people are done for the year & have cleared birds out. You might check on the FB groups & see if there are any there. I only have bantam Cochins left for sale.

I agree with @chicken danz I rarely get notices of posts here. I just check at intervals. After they did a major update to the whole site they just never got that issue fixed. We welcome new comers here & hope this thread will continue on. I am also downsizing the breeds I have to try to cut...

I agree, I love it when it starts cooling down. I just like to have some fall before it gets really cold. It sounds like you have a good assortment of hens there.

It's been a fairly wet summer this year I think for KS. Usually July/August is super dry. I'm in the south central part of the state, almost to the OK border, so way the other direction from you. At least we're not getting the extreme heat & wildfires here that are happening in other places...

I run two groups on FB, I abbreviate it here because BYC doesn't like the mention of any other forum to sell birds. On my groups we have to be very careful not to mention anything monetary & try to stay under the radar. My one group got shut down at one time, but we managed to get it back up...

@Quacking ducks you should put them on FB. Just don't mention price on the groups.

@georgem I run a couple of groups on FB & have a list of some of the swaps. If you're interested send me a message. They don't like me to post stuff like that here.

@georgem There aren't many gamebird breeders around. I'll let you know if I hear of one. I know you don't like FB, but there are still groups on there, we just have to be careful not to mention money at all on the posts.
