Hello everyone, I'm still on the right side of the dirt. Moved out of Cali and am now in Colorado.
Currently have a flock of Bielefelders, Barnevelders, Welsummers, and New Hampshires. They been giving out more eggs than we can deal with so have been blessing the neighbors and people we know...
There have been issues reported with different feeds...not going to name the brands here but if you research it you will find the brands readily. You might try mixing your own, or some peeps have given there chickens goat feed and a variety of different things, all with good results.
I follow many homesteaders on you tube and FB. Many of them have experienced the same thing with TSC feeds. Some didn't want to believe what they suspected, but when they went to the process of elimination, quit feeding said feeds and started with things like table scraps, mixing their own, or...
The latest I heard has been about TSC (Producers Pride) layer feed. Been several homesteaders saying that they switched from TSC feed to local mill feed or started mixing their own feed and their hens started laying again.
A couple years back I quit feeding TSC feed in the middle of the summer...
All of them except for the three I mentioned...A white orpington a buff orpington and a barred rock are the older ones. The rest of them are coming up on 2 years in July

No I haven't but I may try that next. Some of them are in molt so they look like hell lol but they are coming out of it. One of the black hens had an entirely naked neck and breast, they look so funny when they molt lol
