earlier I posted no eggs monday. It turned out my neighbors son collected one. I was in for surgery monday, so was not home till well into the afternoon. So, 1/2 Monday, and 2/2 Tuesday. He said he took it home, and did I want it back. I told him to keep it. I give them eggs all the time anyway...

I'm losing track here. Had surgery yesterday, and don't feel like looking in the house to see. I think I got 2 sat and 2 sunday. Yesterday I was gone, fed the chickens way early. Checked last night and no eggs. Red was on the nest an hour or so back. I imagine Goldie will be there later.

Yesterday, Sunday, was 2/2 again. Regarding when they start laying, that seems to vary. of the 3 that lived to lay eggs, Red started first. Was another month or so till Goldie started. Then the black another month or so. Only have red and Goldie now. I can tell which hen laid which. Reds...

A bit of catching up here. Friday was 2 of 2 sat 1 of 2 Sun 1 of 2 Monday and Tuesday, 2 of 2 each day. So not bad really. Gonna fix 2 eggs in a while here. I let them warm to room temp first.
