Attached pics of some I bought of the mixed bantams. They’re feather legged and toed, with 4 toes. I think they look like they have muffs and beards in the pictures, but can’t really tell just looking at them.
I do wish I was back at our old house where I was part of a chicken group and knew...
Mine in Theodore AL is. Just bought some feather footed bantams from the mixed bantam group, not what I went in for! They were all so inquisitive and outgoing, I couldn’t resist. They were mis-marked, too. Labeled as California Tans, which I’ve never heard of. They also had Asian Black SR and...
I’ve been gone long enough that I’m supposed to put something here!
I’m a somewhat experienced owner starting over. After health issues and plans to move caused me to disband the flock, by butchering, selling, and giving away, I decided I was finished with chickens. I used to have turkey...
My hen has taken on a distinct shade this year. I noticed for the first time that she has dark eyes, too. None of the other WH I've had look like her. Even the jake I bought at the same time is definitely white. I haven't checked his eyes. I've only just noticed this with her. At first I thought...

Holly, I'm standing with you on this, even though it doesn't make me "Prom Queen" with the cool kids. I'll be fighting Marek's forever, and being NPIP doesn't matter on the surface. We'll make it work, one day we'll be "better", but for now, it will be a looong time before we realize...
I use Nolvasan, mixed according to the directions. All the cars have a spray bottle in them and I keep a gallon mixed and a sprayer here at the house. I also keep two pair of boots just for visiting other places. I feel they are easier to spray than tennis shoes. bargain's biosecurity practices...
