3 eggs yesterday, from Juillet, Marzo and Brelly.
Juillet hadn’t laid in a while, and her body always seems to forget how to add the brown to the eggshells when that happens. Her normally medium brown egg was a perfect match for Marzo’s egg color, a light beige.
3 eggs today, 1 from Helmi, and 2 from Août.
Août laid one egg overnight, and one egg early afternoon. She must have been stressed yesterday and held her egg back. You could see where the second egg had touched the other while forming.
My husband tried to mist the chickens to keep them cool...
Aww, the first one looks the closest to Hawk, it will be kind of a shame if it’s a boy. He could be really handsome though!
What is your rooster’s name? I hope he does have the genetics for chocolate eggs. Olive eggs are so pretty!
