Ebrel is on antibiotics for her bumblefoot that still hasn’t healed, so her eggs are supposed to be tossed. I might just feed them back to her.
She could easily be a Welsummer, and she is certainly a girl. Males of any breed would not have this coloration, it is female specific.

Ebrel has been making messy eggs lately, so I had to wash hers. When I give my hens soaked grain, I find they don’t drink as much water and their eggs stay cleaner. Dry grain is easier on me, because I don’t have to scrub their food dishes...
So glad she’s doing better! My sick hen bounced back and went right into laying as well. I felt the same way about it, but I think her hormones saved her. It got her crop moving again. I hope your girly continues to do well!
Thanks @akroberts1085 ! I’m doing well today, actually. The pain has definitely lessened, there’s no bruising and only a tiny bit of swelling. I think just resting my wrist should do :)
