I am semi-retired and trying to focus more on living off the land. The plan is to be able to live off the grid if necessary in the future. It is a long journey learning to live in the forest, have a good garden, raise chickens, survive ice storms, cut fire wood for the wood stove and maintain steep and winding forest roads and trails. We have 19 hens and 2 roos!
