Did you ever get that Wood Duck hen you wanted?

No…. I had something killing my birds (chickens, Guineas, chickens), lost 12, and it killed Kevin the day before she was gonna be shipped. It’s hard, he was a big joy in my life and now he’s gone.

It’ll be okay. Just hard, as I’m sure you know, our birds become pets, family, friends, etc. and it’s never easy having to say goodbye

You should get some, they are amazing. You’d love them! I plan to get some more, but just needed some time because Kevin meant a lot to me and stuff. Also, I plan to improve my areas and stuff

Hey, real quick- what hatcheries would you recommend for waterfowl, especially hatching eggs?

I like purely poultry, crackle hatchery, and metzer farms, those are the most I’m familiar with (I haven’t ever got eggs before tho, so I’m not sure how the eggs are). I haven’t directly ordered birds from Crackle Hatchery, but have a bird who’s parents came from there and he a great!
