That happening is also the final straw/reason we stopped going to church. We needed a break to process what all happened and to clear our minds.
Not going to church has brought on it's own set of problems as well. The vast majority of people we thought were tried and true friends have deserted...
We just filled up the FD with mulberries. There's the regular black, some purple and some whites. We pre-froze them to see how much less time it takes to do the whole process.
That wasn't the reason for us being there, but they did have a mission there with the idea of doing a church plant in the future.
There were two families there and the one family was being brought to the US to treat health issues with the children, while that family was in the US getting...
It was scary to the extent that we felt a bit panicky.
Had we stayed until after the borders were opened we would have been there for 32 weeks which is what the "leader" wanted. The original agreement was 7 weeks.
Feathered feet do often carry over from the parents. My mistake on the Legbars. In the case that the "Aracauna" had feathered legs I guess it's possible that the chick is full "Aracauna".
Legbars are known to be slower growers than some other breeds.
The religious culture I'm from is big on the "leaders" controlling people.
We went to Bolivia on a mission of a definite agreed upon time frame. The agreement was that we go for seven weeks, several days before we were scheduled to go, said "leader" announced that he got the tickets for nine...
I use Cayenne pepper flakes with seeds in my feed on occasion. I recently discoved a partial bag of pepper flakes with seeds that the mice had obviously eaten the centers of the seeds, based on that it doesn't particularly keep the mice out or prevent them from eating any.
They both look like mixes. The single comb chick is clearly not Aracauna, more likely Legbar mix with something that has feather legs so probably not Aracauna. Does the breeder that you got the eggs from have a feather leg breed?
The darker chick looks like a mix as well, probably Legbar x...
I'll share some more on Bolivia sometime, probably mostly pictures and a short story to go with it.
Part of it was traumatic, being religion induced from someone here in the states. I haven't completely healed from that. I don't hate the fellow that induced it, but I don't fully trust him...
My wife uses this everyday. She is fully convinced that it has largely cured her hormonal issues. She doesn't have as many ups and downs as she previously had, she's pretty even keeled if I say so myself. Before Shilajit her emotions were every where.
Here he is with a different hen.
He's not white, but rather a double dun gene which makes him khaki. There's no dominant white in the genetics. The double dun ie khaki dilutes what would usually be black to a creamy look. It's a easy on the eyes color.
If he didn't have the dun color gene, all...
This butterfly picture was taken by me in Bolivia, South America. It was only 1/2" across when the wings were spread.
Taken with a Canon Powershot SX530HS.
