    This pullet is a first for me to see it this long. The placement of the headspot I think is the issue, as both males I've had were more on the top of the head so it grew in full copper there. With hers being next to the comb it may stay there. I'm really curious to see what happens.

    I would caution separating her from the flock unless there's no other option. Reintegration becomes that much harder as you already found out. Momma and babies are instantly integrated if she's kept within the flock.

    Congrats...that's awesome. They're very pretty. Keep track of those eggs if you can, they may get darker still depending on how many layed. My fancy BCM's... That's a hoot !! 🤣 I started with hatchery also, my friend.
