    What color and gender is this beautiful silkie?

    Rooster, mixed color, Silkie mix. You can tell he’s a rooster by the pointed feathers on the head and hackles, and the barker pointed red feathers coming in on his body. He is just a late maturing rooster that is why his comb is small.

    Agree. I would say pullet on the Silkie but I wouldn’t guarantee that. Supposably if a OEGB has dark eye liner it’s a girl. I am testing that theory myself at the moment and it seems to hold true.

    I agree with @AinaWGSD I live in Missouri and have been to shows in Missouri, the roosters had spurs.
