    Do any of you guys know about freedom rangers? Can they live long healthy lives even though they’re meat chickens? The brace in the pictures above is not actually attaching the two legs, sweet little Ombré broke it. :D

    Ombré, the chick with splay leg, is still alive! She still breathes rather hard, but I don’t think she really clicks when she breathes anymore. She might still be clicking just not all the time and not as loud. I believe she is around two weeks. Her legs are far from perfect, she can get around...

    She seems to be doing fine, we gave her another friend, so I guess that’s another one we can eat. 😂 She’s still breathing hard and keeps getting pasty butt, but I believe she’s eating and drinking.

    I can show you a picture of my setup, it was quickly thrown together so I’m sure it’s not great. The blind one passed last night. I’m sad because I loved her and she was sweet but at the same time relieved that she isn’t hungry, thirsty, or in pain anymore. Thank you everyone for all your help.

    I gave her some more of the super watery mash and she drank a little out of the bowl. The other one is still breathing hard but seems to be eating. I’m pretty sure she feels a little heavier today, and seems to be pooping normal. She does seem to get pasty butt a lot, any idea why?

    She’s feeling pretty tiny, I’m pretty sure she hasn’t eaten. She pooped and it looked like clear liquid. I made a super watery mash, and gave her some drops. I’ll keep doing that but I don’t know if that will really help.

    Put the brace back on the splay leg one, her legs were starting to creep out again, I think we took it off a little too soon. Besides that I think she’s doing fine! I’m not sure with the blind one, I don’t know if she’s eaten.
