He's 2-3 months?
I would expect crowing any time, I have 2 that are 10 weeks old tomorrow. The one started crowing between 8-9 weeks, I haven't heard the other crow yet, but the one that's crowing is the dominant of the two so that stands to a possible reason why the other isn't. No definitive...
This is extremely helpful and I definitely would like to add pics of each bird with egg pics also.
Getting each bird assessment and noted along with hatches is a must do, and any help is greatly appreciated. 👍
I do have a tendency to favor the boys 🤣 maybe because I've only had the 3 BCMs...
There's only the one that's super colored on its wings. Also spotted this little one... I doubt this is the brown spot @Chooks man is referring to, it just struck me curious.
I'm no expert but I think she's nice. Super nice tail, she's chunky (type) and looks like a nice comb. She might be a tad over feathered in the feet but like I said I'm just learning, but I do know that's an easy fix mating her to a sparsely feathered male.
Very nice looking for hatchery...
Please do...👍
I started a notebook to write out all the screenshots I have thru out the thread but it's not organized and took too much time. I need to print them out.
As far as my hatches they are just saved on my phone but it's going to cause chaos once I start forgetting.
I really need to...
@BlueTheBrahma
The head count tally is...29
2 Roos - 9 hens
2 cockerels - 6 pullets (9 wks old)
10 hatched from the 2 broodys
I've yet to get individual pics of the 9 wks - (crazy stupid busy)
Due to hatch yet around June 15-16th are the BBS. 6 under Raven and 6 in the incubator.
Yes that's where I found the first video. Should have link to it.

Thank you. ♥️ Now just waiting on the BBS chicks and I'm done.
I think....
I posted this one over in my thread I started but I'll post it here also just in case there's interest.
This one is a super short 2 min. and not as procedural. Snip, snip...no bleeding.
