The newer juveniles have been named: This one will be called Breeze, in honor of Breezefeather. She has the same pale buff color that she did. The Red Star on the left will be called Cluckie, and the other will be called Plum, both in honor of a Barred Rock and Light Brahma that passed away...

Cluckie had not been laying for weeks, but she started laying again just two weeks ago. I don't know what else could be killing my chooks. Hawks? Haven't seen them in a while. And don't they take their prey away? Crows are always flying around here. It's a real mystery.

Just so all of FBA knows, PTR (Pastel The Rooster) is no longer allowed to be on BYC. Her dad stopped her. 🙁 Thanks-I will always remember her.
