This is why you really shouldn't pay attention to the temperature reading on the bator ever.
Just adjust the heat according to what your calibrated (Doo. To be purchased) thermometers read.
I don't know your bator but it looksike you set it to a certain temp and it tries to say at that temp.
It might work a little harder once you take your turner out which causes it to over heat some.
It's good that you know this...so you will need to turn it down some.
Keep playing with it with...
Take the rocker aka turner out.
Whatever day you decide to take the turner out, day 18 or 19, Make sure you will be home for a few hours to monitor the temperature.
My Turner motor adds a couple of degrees to my incubator...so when I take it out I have to adjust my incubator to bring the...
They will have it.
They have cheap thermometers in the fish tank section.
I bought both of these at Walmart.
I keep four or six thermometers in my incubator at all times.
having thermometer spread out in the incubator allows you to know where your hot and cold spots are.
Run your incubator...
when you put your eggs in the rocker you put them pointy side down and you leave them that way.
Do not flip them around where the pointy side is up ever.
I know this is not going to make sense but thermometers are wrong sometimes... Especially the ones that come installed in an incubator.
You can't trust that it's reading correctly so you need to buy a separate thermometer or three of them and calibrate them so you know they are reading...
Can you candle one now and get a picture?
Do not try and open an egg.
If they have not externally pipped they are not ready to come out and if you try and take it out too early you will kill it.
