Good morning Granny Land. One of rare nights last night. I slept straight thru for over 7 hours. I must take my meds and get outside before the make me so sleepy I can't do what must be done today. Have a great day everyone.
Well peeps I can't hold on any longer. I'm spending more time fixing typos than typing. Need to be up early in the morning and hit the ground running.
Goodnight everyone.
We've tried the ground turkey and really just don't care for it. I do love smoked turkey thighs or legs used in noodle casserole. Something our DIL came up with.
We are 1 to 2 weeks out form filling a small freezer with a lot of fresh young fryer size chickens. I think we will make split halves for the grill with a lot of them. We have Delaware, Bresse, and Dark Cornish just about ready. Should be about 25 and maybe 30 ready very soon.
I will not mess up good noodles by putting an egg in them. I'll let others have my share. The best way to eat eggs is about 8 weeks after they hatch fried.
We not have enough sweet corn for over 4 months in the freezer and I believe we'll add another 6 weeks supply to that in the morning. Hopefully the main crop sweet corn will put us over the 12 month supply maybe with some of it being canned. I want some of that put into cook in the bag vacuum...
We just bought another case of ramen noodles. The chicken flavored ones. We will add a can of cream of chicken soup to them. With beef flavored ramen noodles I like golden mushroom soup added. With the chicken besides the cream of mushroom we sometime cut up some small pieces of potato in it.
Someone in the Southwest left a gate open and it's supposed to get to 101° Saturday. The last time we endured that kind of temps was in the mid 70's in NW MO. Triple digits every day for a month.
