OHHHH..... its always so sad......I just dont know why people bring in animals ....... You all know where they go if nobody bids right.........I went with my friend who does rescue work. Basicly buys what can be saved and put to a long good productive life.
They saved 6.....
Anything young...

hello all. I had this odd problem last year with a hen of mine.
* At about this time..........
So- my little man- born this may has started a horrible limp.
the foot is in fine shape by the looks......not even an obvious scratch....no missing nails.....does not feel hot...

these people want a new breed, called show girls.
they're a cross between .......turkens and silkies....yep.
thats diffrent!
how did you start out? how many hens and roosters did ya have? when did you buy an incubator? did the flock grow, and/or how fast ? If you want quality-not quantity then what was your min. # of birds kept. ECT.
any regrets? and what was the most rewarding moments
? ? ? ect.
to post your bird pic.s here?
and then tell me what you like/dislike about them....please?
i want to learn all i can about this breed.....i have been to longtail fowl/longcrowers web page and brian reeder, but still hungry for more.................. thank you all.
i put my roos on a post here...
how do you serve it? its powder so you cant mix it with the food.it sinks. too much protien is bad.
(its 60% protien for my peafowl and longtails)
i put it in a small round chick feeder, an take off the mason jar top......leave it out for a few days, and repeat next week.
what do you people do?
i dont know where my post went........i swear it was here tim said he did"nt see anything so i tryed something else...well here we go agein then........and why cant i get pictures up with Img ?
