i like bantams because i personally find them cute/pretty and more manageable for myself and my situation because of their small size, but are they good layers or can they be used for meals if needed/if one chooses? or do most people raise them for shows and pets only? I am just curious to get...
i'm thinking of buying the poultry netting to keep the flock on our property mainly and hopefully a bit more protected while outside. i'm curious to know if anyone else uses it and what their experience has been with it before i order it. i guess i'd probably have to trim some primary feathers...

Hi all, this is a great forum and i'm glad i finally joined! I have guineas, peafowl, roos, 1 hen, 1 paint horse, 1 mini horse, 2 donkeys, 2 jack russells, 2 cats, and plans to expand the poultry flock in spring. please bear with me as i get used to this forum and learn my way around!
