    Broody Hen

Hi! As I've stated on previous threads, I'm not as experienced with chickens. Recently, I've had a hen lay three tiny eggs, and then lay two regular sized. The chickens smashed the first regular egg, but she's been sitting on the others. I think I should remove the small eggs. I definitely know...

    I Need Advice

I own five geese that I love more than anything else that I could imagine, but my family may be moving, and we won't be able to keep them. Ignoring the chickens and ducks, I haven't an idea what to do with my geese, and I certainly don't want them to end up in the freezer. I live in PA, so there...

    Rooster

Alright, I know a lot about my geese and ducks, but not so much about my chickens. I know that my rooster has been trying to mate, as he will climb atop a female. But, he'll fall off/ let the females yell at him to get off. Is this normal, or is he having problems? He has 22 hens at his disposal.

    Goose Aggression

I've heard multiple times that geese are very prone to being aggressive, and mine have left scratches up to five or six inches. I've had them as four or five day olds since February 15th, therefore they're still relatively young, about two months. I've heard about techniques to calm them, but I...

    Nibbling Ducklings

My new ducklings, a Rouen drake and Pekin duck, keep nibbling at my face and whichever part of me they can get a hold of. My others of the year never did this, and they were all their age when they came into my care. Can I stop this behaviour, or is it normal?

    Gosling Broken Bill

Help! My baby ripped his beak on whatever it might have been, something in his enclosure, and he's bleeding. I'm having him cleaned, and applying Neosporin, but I'm not sure what else to do.

    Ducklings

Last time I posted this, I don't think it posted. Alright, I have three older ducks (a few weeks old) and younger ducks (one to two weeks old), and I was wondering if I could keep then together? The younger ducklings often follow the older ducklings, mainly Duchess and Luna, but they have taken...

    Snowy Mallard/Runner Duck

I have a new shipment of ducks, I think about five. I can't tell which is the snowy mallard, and which is the beige runner duck. Any help?

    New Baby Chick

A shipment of chicks survived, and only one happened to survive. She made it through last night, but I'm still worried that something will happen to her, and I don't want to do something wrong.

    Geese Questions

I think it might be helpful for everyone to have a place to ask about geese and answer about them, no matter how silly the question may seem. I myself am learning more and more about them, but I'm willing to give any advice I can!

    Pomeranian Geese Help

Hello! I'm within a month of receiving my first gray saddleback pomeranian geese, and I was wondering if there was anything I should know about the breed. I will be receiving a gander and a goose, and I'm hoping for goslings in a year or two!
