I really want to put my Pekin hens and one drake in with my runner ducks.
I’m a little worried that my big Pekin drake may drown the hens in the pond
when trying to mate.
Reminder-
*Im not using kiddie pools I’ve got a small pond*
A assume my Orpington hen has calcium deficiency, I’m not giving oyster shell right now but I’m gonna buy
I’m just making sure because her sister had an internal laying problem that we had to put her down for.
They also eat All Flock and not layer, we have so many poultry it’s just easier to...
On one site I read that is was normal for meat birds to drink a lot of water? But these boys are now pooping really watery poo?.. So is this normal should I be worried? I read that this poo (in pic) is usally what they poo in really hot weather from lots of water intake.
Can mites crawl inside Chickens? Our most recent rescue, Derp has mites. When we got her,she was mistakend for being blind...? I'm not really sure what her owners where thinking? Yes we are treating her for the mite . But my question is can mute crawls inside the ears mouth etc.
After are mama hen snuck in with the boys I now have a egg to incubate. But it won't get to 100F. This old incubator was used to hatch are two baby turkeys Becky and Pecky so I know it works ? But now it won't get to 100F. I also had it running all night?
Our Orpington nugget had seemed waddle a little ? I don't think she is egg bound she haz been like this for week? Her crop feels pretty solid but her comb is is droopy, pale and a little purple. But this is the wierdest of all her breast bone is wavy? And she is very fat I'm not sure what it is...
She might have sprained her leg broke a toe? I'm not sure she is really happy her comb is red she is eating a little drinking a litte she flaps her wings but...? She can't stand? ( all of are Orpingtons seem like there starting to pass at the same age the breeder we don't think was really good).
