    New Chickens Not Laying

Ok, so I got some new chickens about 2 weeks ago, but they are not laying. I know this because 1) I've never seen them in a nesting box and their vents aren't like my other chickens that are laying fine and 2) Their combs and waddles are pink to light red and not dark red like they should be...

    Chickens Overeating

As some of you said in one of my previous threads here in feed section, I asked if I should start to give them 24/7 access to feed. Well, I started that. But, my 20 chickens ate 8 pounds of food in one day!! Is this normal or does this seem a bit excessive?

    Pinkish Combs/Waddles

Ok, so I got some new chickens not too long ago. I was told they were 1.5 years old. I'm worried about their combs and waddles as they're smaller than my other chickens I've had before and they are much pinker. Is this a problem, or should i let it go?

    Bantam or New Pullet egg?

Was this egg layed by a pullet or bantam you think? I have some rather tiny RIRs, but I'm not exactly sure if they're bantams, but I also have some 6 month old pullets in my flock. Which do you guys think?

Is it OK to leave my chickens locked in the coop for the winter?

Ok, so I have around 15 chickens and my coop is about 150 sq ft. These chickens are free range. What I'm going to do is give them 14 hours of light a day using a combination of natural and artifical light to make sure they keep laying. I am providing the chickens some entertainment as well. The...
