We’re building an 8x12 Woods Fresh Air Coop. This is our progress so far. I want to thank everyone who has built this type of coop and posted here. We never would have gotten this far without this resource. We have 8 chicks waiting to move in. More updates to follow.
The peepers are 3.5 weeks old now. Today, they had their first day outside. Our Speckled Sussex taught everyone how to take a dust bath and our black Australorp taught everyone how to sun bath. They stayed close to me for reassurance, and I thought that was adorable.

Our chicks arrived yesterday. I immediately taught them how to drink water from the nipple drip. Then, it was time to learn how to play the xylophone. 😆
Hello! We have started our chicken journey. Last weekend we started cleaning up our yard and getting read to prep the site of our chicken coop. We added a fence to our yard to help keep neighborhood dogs out, and we are gathering supplies for our coop build.
