    Grit and ouster shell feeder

    Currently have chicks, and offering them grit just sprinkled on a piece of wood. Trying to figure out what type of small feeder would work best to keep it in and oyster shell when they are older. Show me all the ideas..lol Picture of our chicks!

    100watt ceramic bulb?

    I am using a dog house as a brooder and the heat lamp from tractor supply is way to big to go inside. I found a 8.5 lamp and 100watt ceramic heater. Would that be enough for them? I do have the dog house door blocked off for now to keep the heat in. Also I'm in NC if that helps any I've removed...

    Ventilation

    I'm in North Carolina. Near Fayetteville. Working on my coop which is about 3.5ft tall and 7 feet long. Unfortunately can't make it any taller. The roof is the next step and I'm trying to make sure we have enough ventilation. Plan to use a 2x4 to slant the roof but how many inches should the gap...
