    Pale dusty comb

    1 of my hens comb has not turned red like her sisters. She is 7 months. I’ve head that a pale comb could be an indication of an illness. She is acting her normal self, eating and drinking water. Any insight on this comb coloring ?

    Hole on beak

    Not sure what caused this hole on my Easter Eggers beak. All I have is Vet RX so I applied that after cleaning the wound. Anyone have recommendations or have dealt with a hole in beak?

    Hello. My EE are 9 weeks old now. They are from ideal poultry. The description from their website states that they have pea combs, with ear muffs and beards. I don’t quite see a developing beard or muffs. At what age do beards/ muffs usually develop ?

    Recently added sand to our run. We got the all purpose green bag from Lowes. It seems to be more fine than I would like, with very little granite or rock. I do live in a humid/ hot climate.
