I got this pekin just a few days ago at our poultry club auction. A lot of ppl including breeders that are club members say its a female, but i need to be sure. I thought i heard a really poor crow this morning but i cant be sure it was this bird doing it..... Its about 14-16 weeks old ...thanks...

I thought you all mite link to know, that it didnt hatch, it looks to have died off as it was not very developed.

Yes we do live in the country in Victoria Australia and i have chooks myself, she got the egg from me....i couldn't see a city kid do that either, im sure city kids just think that eggs come in cartons from the supermarket...

She sleeps in her Bra so its only off when she showers. I sent an email to Loudie Da that hatched chicks in her bra and she did 4 in total, she did in fact have a chic that lived until it was 4 weeks old but it was killed by older chicks....she had problems with the others but she has proven it...

Im not sure if i am much help, but have yor tried keeping her in the dark for a week or so to stop her laying and give he time to rest, maybe this may settle things down a bit

this isnt a joke there is really an egg in her bra. a couple of years back a member of this board named loudi da or alike had 2 eggs in her bra and did infact hatch 2 chicks, but they only did live a couple of days. we have been candling the egg daily and watching it grow, now we are waiting to...

Its day 24 of my sons gf inubating an egg in her bra. Its day 24 and the chick is active but still not broken the air sack. any ideas...or should i leave it alone and see what happens? thanks....
