I have 4 chickens that are smaller than my bantams and they are 2 roosters and 2 hens. I would really like to know what breed of chickens they are as I got them from a feed store when they were chicks.
I recently returned back here and have tried to update my email and password. I would like to have the password to to my BYC account reset as I've tried to update my old password but to my realization I have forgotten my old password. If a mod could help I greatly appreciate it and thank you.
Another problem rises I told him that 20 of my d'Uccle chicks will arrive on 5/2/12 and he said that he's going to kill them all when they arrive. What should I do? I really want to protect my babies from harm from my father and he also wants to charge me $10 if they poop inside the house. He...
I feel that my father has scammed me out of my money when I sold my flock of 4 Silkies to someone via craigslist. I then paid my father the $50 plus $30 to order 20 d'Uccle chicks from Ideal Poultry which he tried to order online and the order didn't went through. He called Ideal Poultry to...
I'm not thrilled with Ideal Poultry when I sent them an email about my order inquiry and that they have no such order under my name as I've ordered on 4/14/12 and my billing information was not going through since I only have a cell phone and we don't have a daytime phone. So why are they saying...
The chicken feed that I have is not Layer Feed as it is regular Chicken Feed. I have 12 chicks that are growing and they already have feathers on their body.
I've run out of chick crumbles and my question is this. Can regular chicken feed be as a substitute for growing chicks that are already in the middle of feathering out or do they still need chick crumbles in a daily basis?
They didn't charge shipping when I ordered 20 d'uccle chicks from Ideal Poultry as they are in the state of texas. McMurray has a much higher shipping cost and I wouldn't want 25+ chicks for an outrageous price of $112. Ideal Poultry is a better choice.
I recommend Ideal Poultry as they have affordable prices at a $25 minimum and they have no 25 chick minimum like most other hatcheries require a 25 chick minimum. I've ordered 20 D'Uccle chicks from Ideal Poultry last week and they should be coming in this week hopefully.
You can also try checking your local feed store if they carry light brahma pullet chicks. That is how I discovered Hope she is my Buff Cochin pullet in a bin at my local feed store.
