With the warmer weather upon us I started back to work on the coop I built last year, right now I picked up a delivery of soil and a bunch of little pavers so I can build some garden beds in front of the coop. You can see some pictures by scrolling through my blog...
Thanks Fire Tigeris - Fire for all of the good advise...I am going to definitely try and take her around them on a leash and see how that goes.
Hi ChicKat - Thanks for that link, the example video looks amazing, but is the program really that easy to use and train? Will it also help train the...
I have a new puppy, she is about 13 weeks old and I have had her for about 3 weeks. At first she was pretty good around my hens, but now she wants to chase her...any advise on how to get her accustomed to being around them so I can let them free range again...
Too funny! I can definitely relate, I grew up just outside a major city and now live in the country, grow veggies, raise chickens, and blog about it all. I love it, but when I tell my "old friends" or even my coworkers, they all laugh...oh well, sometimes I laugh too...

I got my first flock last spring and it has been an incredible experience. I want to thank everyone on this site for their great pictures and stories which inspired me to first build a chicken tractor and then a coop.
