10-week-old Sebrights: Why is this so difficult?

hopefully this one will get along, regardless of gender. I have a Serama roo in there with a silkie hen, serama hen, and the two new babies. I've even hatched eggs and raised babies in there with my broody girls, and the roo is good with them.

10-week-old Sebrights: Why is this so difficult?

Here's the baby. Got him/her as a pullet at 3 or 4 weeks old, that was nearly a month ago. All the babies from that hatch had distinctive black or read combs. This one didn't develop the red until two weeks later, still only a hint of wattles. Way more comb/red than I expect for a girl, but...

    American serama thread!

I am new to Seramas, I did research beforehand BUT... Love my little roo to bits. Healthy and sweet, good with people and hens... That being said, he only roosts at night. He's always on the ground or the coop floor while the sun is up. I have roosts of different sizes and height. He...

We got layers for my son. Didn't realize the whole family would love them so much. We even raise meat chickens and ornamentals now. Good luck!
