    first time incubating, getting worried

    Ok we set eggs on the evening of the tenth, we were seeing movement and hearing tapping sounds yesterday (30th) and the evening before, now it's day 21 and there's nothing. No movement, no tapping or anything. Should we be concerned?

    Langshan hens or roos?

    We suspect the last two are pullets. The third one is the runt of the entire flock, about half the size of the others it came with and a real ugly duckling.

    Help plz!

    So we've got a bit of a problem - one of our chicks (a speckled sussex) is being pecked by all of the others. The poor thing has gotten bloody spots on its shoulders because of it and the others just keep at it. It doesn't seem to be an aggressive act, more like the others see something...

    Hullo! I'm from Colorado. We're new to owning chickens and have just purchased 5 buff brahmas, 5 assorted wyandottes, 5 langshans, 10 speckled sussex, 5 red sex links, 5 black sex links, plus 6 miscellaneous feed store chicks and we're open to suggestions to better take care of these 41 chicks...
