There are some good bed wetting sites that deal with this problem. You don't want to make it out like it is his fault as he is sleeping and can't help himself. Some kids just outgrow this, good luck and most of be patient even if it is hard to do.

Me ... I would wash them. I have two hens that broad and break eggs so i always wash them. If you are breeding the eggs for chicks I would not wash them

What kind of action are they threatening you with ?? Watch out for HOA because they can change the covenents on you.

If you are going to use part as a tack room keep it separate from the chickens because if you don't you will have dust on everything. I would make a separate entrance for the tack room.

They might be pushing the egg out of the nesting box.
